Mumbai: Among key bulk deals on Tuesday, Spanish firm Participaciones Internacionales Autometal lapped up shares of Mahindra CIE Automative, while Sundaram Mutual Fund offloaded.

Of the frontline indices, Sensex rose 1.49 per cent or 519.11 points to close at 35,430.43, while Nifty climbed 1.55 per cent or 159.80 points to close at 10,471.

>> Participaciones Internacionales Autometal Dos Sociedad Limitada bought 52,32,000 shares of Mahindra CIE Automative at Rs 120.01 each, while Sundaram Mutual Fund sold 43,00,000 shares in the company at Rs 120 each.

>> IDBI Bank again sold shares of Galada Power Telecommunications. It offloaded 150,000 shares at Rs 0.57 each, while Ankit Shah bought 42,000 shares in the company at Rs 0.55 each.

>> Agnus Holdings bought 169,882,943 shares of Sequent Scientific at Rs 1,073.50 from KR Ravishankar KR Ravishankar.

>> Lifecell International sold 9,60,000 shares of Strides Pharma at Rs 450.08 per share.

>> Beacon Trusteeship sold 5,57,271 shares of Tourism Finance Corp at Rs 37.65 each.
